Introduction: Patient Rights is a set of requirements for service providers in the health system with patients are required to follow. Due to the numerous problems that mothers face during pregnancy, they have an increased need to respect the various aspects of rights. Aims and Methods: The aim of this cross sectional study was to determine the rights of pregnant women attending health centers in the city of Kerman in 2012. Random quota sampling method was used. Data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire which after determining the reliability and validity, got completed by interview. Data was analyzed by T tests, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficient test using SPSS version 14. Results: Results of study showed a good level of respect to maternal rights according to total average of rights. Highest respect to right was access to appropriate and sufficient information and the lowest average assigned to the right to decide freely on health services. There were significant correlation between job and right to decide freely on health services (p=0/001(, level of education and respect to dignity and confidentiality (p=0/03) also between level of education and reception appropriate health services. Significant differences in level of respect to rights according to age, parity, and number of children were not found. Conclusion: The results of this study will help health care planners and administrators to be notified of the status of women's rights in health care centers and implement actions to familiarize women with their rights and better conduct of ethical and legal acts. Brochures, pamphlets and posters, as well as providing installation complaints fund the clinic is recommended.
