fa بررسی جراحی‌های زیبایی از منظر اخلاق پزشکی An Analysis of Cosmetic Surgery from the Perspective of Medical Ethics پژوهشي Original Article <div style="text-align: justify;">زمینه و هدف: جراحی زیبایی که تا پیش از این «درمان» تلقی نمی‫گشت، یکی از دستاوردهای جدید علم پزشکی است که امروزه همسو با تغییر و تحول نیازهای مادی و معنوی انسان در تطبیق با مقتضیات زمان و با هدف حفظ تعادل روحی و بهبود روانی فرد، نوعی درمان تلقی می‌گردد. اکنون، اگرچه تردیدهای حاصل از مشروعیت اخلاقی و حقوقی جراحی زیبایی تا حدود زیادی مرتفع شده و مشروعیت آن تقویت گردیده است، اما لزوم توجه و ضرورت اهتمام به اجرا و صیانت از قواعد، اصول و استانداردهای اخلاقی همچنان باقی است. از این رو ضرورت بررسی قواعد و اصول اخلاق پزشکی و راه‌های تضمین و صیانت از سلامتی، حفظ کرامت و حریم خصوصی فرد در این‫گونه جراحی‌ها که زمینه و هدف اصلی این پژوهش می‫باشد، بیش از گذشته احساس می‌گردد. روش: این مقاله به روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی، به صورت کتابخانه‌ای و با ابزار فیش‌برداری کتب، مقالات، قوانین و بررسی تحلیلی یافته‌ها نگارش یافته است. ملاحظات اخلاقی: صداقت و امانتداری علمی در تمام قسمت‌های پژوهش حاضر رعایت شده است. یافته‌ها: جراحی زیبایی به دلیل ویژگی‌های انتخابی‌بودن، فقدان فوریت و اضطرار، اهداف نه صرفاً درمانی و ارتباط با جنبه‌های روان‌شناسی با موضوعات اخلاقی جدیدی رو به‫ رو شده و نتیجتاً باعث ایجاد تحولاتی ضروری در اخلاق پزشکی سنتی گردیده است. نتیجه‌گیری: این تحقیق، قواعد و قوانین اخلاق پزشکی موجود را پاسخگوی اقتضائات نوین پزشکی ندانسته و بر پیش‌بینی تمهیدات لازم جهت آموزش مستمر و منطبق با دستاوردهای نوین جهانی، فرهنگ‌سازی منطبق با شرایط زمانی و راهکارهای اجرایی‌شدن اخلاق پزشکی و شناسایی و رفع موانع اجرایی این اصول تأکید کرده و این فرآیند را در جهت حفظ، توسعه و اعتلای اخلاق پزشکی ضروری می‌داند.</div> Background and Aim: Cosmetic surgery, which was not previously regarded as a form of medical treatment, has increasingly been considered therapeutic due to its role in improving individuals’ psychological well-being and mental balance. Although ethical and legal doubts regarding the legitimacy of cosmetic surgery have largely been resolved, the necessity of observing ethical principles in this field remains essential. This study aims to examine the principles of medical ethics applicable to cosmetic surgery and to assess their adequacy in addressing contemporary medical developments. Method: This study was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method. Data were collected through a library-based approach, including the review and analysis of books, scholarly articles, legal documents and relevant ethical guidelines. Ethical Considerations: Scientific integrity, honesty and proper citation of sources were observed throughout all stages of the research Results: Due to its elective nature, lack of urgency, non-therapeutic objectives and strong connection with psychological aspects, cosmetic surgery has given rise to new ethical challenges. These challenges have necessitated significant transformations in traditional medical ethics. Conclusion:  The findings indicate that existing medical ethics principles and regulations are insufficient to meet the demands of modern cosmetic surgery. Therefore, continuous education, context-based cultural development, practical implementation strategies and the identification and removal of obstacles to the application of medical ethics are essential for preserving health, human dignity and professional ethical standards.
