<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family: tahoma;"><span style="color: windowtext;">اندیشمندان دینی از اولین افرادی بودند که به چالشهای علوم ژنتیک اشاره کرده و آن را مورد نقد و بررسی قرار دادند. در همین راستا نهادهای مذهبی از ابتدا در خصوص چالشهای اخلاقی و مذهبی ژندرمانی به مناظره پرداختند. از آنجا که پذیرش عمومی جامعه نسبت به ژندرمانی تا حد زیادی ریشه در عقاید مذهبی دارد، نظریههای مذهبی بدون تردید نقشی کلیدی در شکلدهی نگرش عموم جامعه به ژندرمانی و سیاستگذاری در خصوص آن ایفا میکند. با بررسی دیدگاه ادیان سهگانه در خصوص ژندرمانی مشخص گردید که بیشترین مخالفتهای مذهبی با ژندرمانی در میان مسیحیان وجود دارد. در مقابل بیشترین حمایت مذهبی از ژندرمانی در میان ادیان توحیدی، به اسلام تعلق دارد. اکثر فقهای شیعه و سنی استفاده از ژندرمانی را برای درمان بیماریهای صعبالعلاج جایز میدانند. به علاوه مشهور مسلمانان مطلق دستکاری را حتی برای اهداف غیر درمانی نیز جایز دانستهاند، چراکه ادله اباحه و جواز مهندسی ژنتیک در فقه اسلامی تمام شیوههای اصلاح ژنتیکی را شامل میشود.</span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">Religious scholars were among the first to address the challenges of genetic science. In this regard, religious institutions from the beginning has debate on moral and religious challenges of gene therapy. Because public acceptance towards gene therapy is largely rooted in religious beliefs, Religious doctrine undoubtedly play a key role in shaping public attitudes and policy about gene therapy. In examining the Perspective of three religions about gene therapy, it is obvious that the largest religious opposition to gene therapy exists among Christians. In contrast, most religious support of gene therapy among monotheistic religions belong to Islam. The majority of Shiite and Sunni scholars believe that the use of gene therapy for treating incurable diseases is legitimateIn addition the majority of Muslims believe that Genetic manipulation is absolutely is legitimate even for non-medical purposes. Because in Islamic law, the legitimacy basis of genetic engineering covers all manner of genetic modification.<br>
