Observing patient's rights, informing them and sharing them in decision-making, is greatly effective in improving patients. Hence, Iran's health care system has made a decree to this end. The purpose of the present paper is to analyze the extent to which the "charter of the patient's rights" is implemented with the Islamic religious principles, ie, the Quran and narratives. The research method is descriptive-analytic with a Quranic-narrative and text-based approach. Findings of the research show that the alignment of the Patients' Rights Charter with religious teachings can be seen in most cases. The rights of patients in Islam have been shaped by the values of human excellence and focus on preserving the dignity of the patient. Regardless of the content of the charter of the patient's rights in terms of religious law, given the two-fold relationship between the rights and duties, it can be said that in addition to the comprehensive examination of the patient's rights, considering his duties towards the medical staff can be an important factor in the realization of the goals of the charter of patient rights. Therefore, achieving this goal requires the development of a comprehensive text called the charter of rights and homework of the patient.
