Abstract:
Background and Aim: Depression is a relatively common condition that is increasing in the world. A soft and quiet disease that, with a graceful appearance, leads to ruin in all aspects of life. It is like an arrow that first aims inside the person and sacrifices him and then leads to the destruction of others and the commission of a crime. Our goal is to express the problems that exist in this area in terms of legislation and how to deal with depressed people.
Method: The research method used in this study is based on the descriptive-analytical method and the information collection method is using library and documentary sources.
Ethical Considerations: In this study, all ethical principles such as trustworthiness, honesty and originality of the text have been observed.
Results: Pressure theory, in parts, explains the existential cause of depression and warns society that the consequences of ignoring social pressures on an individual are dangerous. Numerous studies in the world have explained its importance for judicial and legislative practitioners.
Conclusion: It seems that changes in laws and explicit classification of types of mental disorders are necessary, while early prevention is one of the requirements that should be more considered by the judicial justice system.
