Abstract:  
Background and Aim: This study aims at comparing the dependent personality disorders in healthy women and addicted women to drugs.
Method: For this purpose, among the drug-addicted women residing in the medium-term centers of Tabriz, 80 people were selected by available sample and along with a sample of 80 non-addicted women of the same city who were selected by simple random sampling. They were tested by the revised dependent personality questionnaire (DPI-R).
Ethical Considerations: In order to organize this research, while observing the authenticity of the texts, honestly and fidelity have been observed.
Results: The results of independent T-test showed that the average rate of dependent personality disorder in addicted women is higher than non-addicted group, also Pearson correlation test showed that there is a significant correlation between the two main scales of reliance on each other and the need for relationships in dependent personality disorder.
Conclusion: According to the results obtained in the research findings, it can be concluded that there is a statistically significant difference between addicted and non-drug addicted women in dependent personality disorder (p<0.000).
