Abstract:  
Background and Aim: In Iran, as a country with a high rate of young, educated population, people demand free access to any type of technology for entertainment and social relations. In the era of information technology, considering the threats, protecting the privacy of citizens and users of cyberspace has been one of the main concerns of legislators. One of the citizenship rights that should be taken into account is the right to free access to information. Our goal in this article is to study the right to free access to information in the cyberspace protection plan.
Method: The present study is descriptive- analytical. The materials and data are qualitative and index cards were used in collecting materials and data.
Ethical Considerations: This Article has completely adhered to the Moral Principles Honesty, Respect for Rights and Confidentiality- and the Principle of Material-Intellectual Property.
Results: The findings indicate that the right to free access to information is considered one of the most important elements of freedom of expression and an important citizenship rights, this right has broad dimensions; because the realization of the slogan of democracy without guaranteeing the right to access information cannot guarantee a glory future for citizens. The right to access the Internet is one of the natural rights of all human beings that considered as imperative rules, so all human beings should have access to the Internet regard to exercise the freedom of expression and accessing fundamental human rights and governments are bind to ensuring this right. It has been addressed in international law as well as in domestic instruments such as the Constitution and ordinary laws and the Charter on Citizens' Rights.
Conclusion: It is clear that by appropriate utilizing the information technology platform and cyberspace, the country's development train can be driven towards success and improvement and to achieve this, we must first lay the cornerstone of this building properly so that we can witness the increasing successes of our country in various fields. The vital requirement of this movement is the appropriate utilization of this space by establishing adequate laws and regulations prepared by experts in this field.
