Abstract:
Background and Aim: Cosmetics and health products are an important part of society's consumer goods that play an important role in the health of citizens. Any violation in this area has a great impact on the health of citizens, because health is the most important part of every person's life.Accordingly, the aim of the present article is to examine the health of cosmetics and health products from the perspective of Iranian jurisprudence and law.
Method: The article in question is descriptive-analytical and the library method was used.
Ethical Considerations: In all stages of writing this research, the originality of the texts, honesty and trustworthiness have been observed.
Results: The health of cosmetics and health products has not been specifically addressed in jurisprudence, but the health of individuals has been emphasized and in accordance with rules such as the prevention of harm and waste, a kind of guarantee and civil liability can be considered in this regard. In statutory law, in upstream documents such as the Constitution, the Twenty-Year Vision Document and the Five-Year Development Plans, citizens' health has been generally endorsed and in ordinary laws such as the Food, Beverage, Cosmetics and Hygiene Law of 1346 and its subsequent amendments and the draft Penal Code of 1401, the production and distribution of cosmetics and hygiene products have been monitored and penalties have been determined for violators.
Conclusion: Considering the examples of fraud by individuals involved in this field and its wide scope, there is an increasing need to formulate a specific law for cosmetics and hygiene products.
